Parents shocked to find pornographic content in toy whistles made out of discarded film rolls
Coimbatore: Toy whistles that are made out of discarded film rolls sold for Rs.5 at petty shops contained pornographic content to the shock of parents.

A grocery shop in the Sulur area that also sells small toys for children has been selling whistles made out of colour paper and film rolls. Children buy these whistles a lot.
When a boy who purchased the whistle realised that it did not work anymore, he opened the roll and the film inside. He was shocked to find pornographic content in the film. He informed his parents, who were equally shocked. Following this, they bought another whistle to their dismay that also had a film roll that contained pornographic material. They filed a complaint regarding this with the Sulur police.
The police who visited the shop seized the film roll whistles and are conducting an enquiry with the shop owner Balamurugan about the source of the whistles.
