Coimbatore: Differently abled people with National ID cards to be provided with the relief fund

Coimbatore: The District Collector has informed that the differently abled people with National ID's who have not yet received their COVID-19 relief fund, can avail their COVID-19 relief funds through the VAO.

Coimbatore: The District Collector has informed that the differently abled people with National ID's who have not yet received their COVID-19 relief fund, can avail their COVID-19 relief funds through the VAO.

The differently abled people who have not availed the relief fund can visit their respective VAO with the requisite proofs and receive the relief funds.

In a press release stating this, he said, "The TN government has been undertaking various measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a part of this the poor and needy people were provided with essential relief and steps for their economic recovery were also taken proactively. Following this all the differently abled people in the Coimbatore district were provided with the relief amount of Rs.1,000 at their doorstep by the VAO."

He further said, "Additionally, during the COVID-19 times, those differently abled people from other districts, who happened to live in Coimbatore and hold their ID cards, were also provided with the relief fund by the VAO, after their details were taken down separately. The differently abled people in Coimbatore District who hold ID's , who have not received their relief funds can contact their respective VAO's with the requisite proofs and receive the relief fund of Rs.1,000."
