Under the orders of the Corporation Commissioner, the encroachments in front of the shops on KG Street in Ward no. 83 of the Central Zone were asked to be removed. Further, he ordered that only one side of the street should be used for parking of vehicles.
He then visited the COVID-19 screening camps conducted at Anna Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Muthamizh Nagar and on the 4th street of Thaneer Pandhal in the East Zone Ward no. 56.
Along with flying squad members, he then visited the new COVID Care Center that is being established on the Singanallur Trichy Road in the East Zone due to the increased spread of COVID-19 within the Corporation. He inspected the beds and other facilities at the center.
