Coimbatore: BJP State Youth Wing members from Coimbatore staged a protest against the Youtube channel Karuppar Kootam by drawing 'vel' on their hands and raising slogans against them.
The Karuppar Kootam Youtube channel slandered the Hindu devotional song 'Kanda Shasti Kavasam' causing an uproar among the Hindus. Following this various Hindu outfits are continuously staging protests in condemnation of the channel.
As part of these ongoing protests the BJP state Youth wing held protests at Edayarpalayam in front of the house of Youth Wing Secretary Dr. Preethi Lakshmi. The protestors drew 50 designs of the 'vel' flower kolams. They also drew the 'vel' on their hands in various colours and protested in a novel manner. They sang bhajans and songs on Lord Muruga and raised slogans against Karuppar Kootam.
