Coimbatore: A 20-year-old man broke into one Sriram's house in Kalipalayam village to Periyanayakanpalayam at night three days ago. He kept giving contradictory answers back and forth when those in the house caught and interrogated him.
Coimbatore: A 20-year-old man broke into one Sriram's house in Kalipalayam village to Periyanayakanpalayam at night three days ago. He kept giving contradictory answers back and forth when those in the house caught and interrogated him.
The news of a mysterious man breaking into Sri Ram's house spread and people started gathering there. Upon receiving information about this, member of Kalipalayam Nanbargal Narpani Kuzhu came to the spot and inquired the youngsters. It was found that the person was mentally ill.
Following this, Narpani Kuzhu administrator Anbu Selvan took the man to his home and fed him and cared for him for three days. He was given a haircut and clothes. During interrogation, he kept saying, "This is my house, I lost my sheep, I slept well yesterday." The young man also said that he hails from Thalamukki near Kotagiri.
Anbu Selvan then contacted the Nilgiri Adivasi Tribal Nala Sangam through a person he knew. It was found that the person was Ramu, the 20-year-old son of Karamadai from Thalamukki tribal village near Kotagiri in the Nilgiris district. They also came to know that he was mentally ill and had been missing from home for the past one week.
Following this, members of the Nilgiri Adivasi Tribal Nala Sangam came to Kalipalayam, fetched Ramu and handed him over to Ramu's parents in Kotagiri. Ramu's relatives rang up Anbu Selvan and expressed their gratitude.
