Tirupur: Members of AITUC petitioned Tirupur District Collector to regulate the online registration for Labour Welfare board memberships.

Tirupur: Members of AITUC petitioned Tirupur District Collector to regulate the online registration for Labour Welfare board memberships.

The Labour Welfare Board has recommended the use of internet for assisting with the registration of the labourers such as construction workers to the labour welfare boards.

However, the AITUC has alleged that there is a lot of confusion while registering online, which leads to delays. They therefore requested the District Collector to intervene and regulate the registration process.

The AITUC members submitted the petition at the Tirupur District Collectorate.
