Prabhu(29) from Dharmapuri district has been residing and working at the Pudupalayam area in Tirupur, with this wife and three children for the past six years.He had allegedly been cheating a 14-year-old girl for the past nine months stating that he was in love with her. Similarly, he had also sexually abused the girl many times.
When the other members of the family came to know about this, he lured the girl with the promise of marriage and kidnapped her two days ago.
The Poondi police went to Dharmapuri and rescued the girl and arrested Prabhu and handed him over to the Tirupur North Mahila police station. After investigation, police filed a case against the offender under POCSO and imprisoned him at the Coimbatore Central Prison.
