As part of this, more than shops including a meat stall operating near Podanur Aavin Milk Parlour in the Kurichi area, which had been operating beyond the declared time, were sealed by the Corporation Health Department officials led by Jeevan Murugaraj in the presence of Inspector Maheshwaran.
More than 50 people were fined for wandering around without wearing a face mask.
