Coimbatore: Minister of Animal Husbandry said yesterday that students who have completed Class 12 are showing more interest in joining the Veterinary College to be started at Thalaivasal of Salem District. He inaugurated the software of a start-up company called Thandora. The Minister then issued an employment order to a person working in the company. Its office is to be opened in Udumalai soon.

He told reporters that the company would hire another 50 to 100 people in the next one year and that it had provided housing leases to more than 200 people who had lived in the Udumalai assembly constituency for more than 40 years and that the construction of 320 flats in the Udumalai Pookalam area had been completed at a cost of Rs 30 crore.
Students who have completed +2 this year are showing high interest in enrolling in the Veterinary College which has started in the Thalaivasal area of Salem district. He said applications were being submitted to them online and admission would be based on marks.
