On July 23, a group of seven shirtless men roaming in the residential area of Deepam Nagar near Irugur were captured on the CCTV camera mounted at a house in the area. This video created fear in the minds of the area residents.
Shockingly, another video captured by the CCTV camera in a house in Balaguru Garden of ward no. 38 showed three half dressed men with cloth on their faces roaming in the area with weapons, on the same day when the first video was taken.
Further, theft attempts have been made at three locked houses in the Peelamedu area. The police are investigating these incidents that have been occurring in the Singanallur and Peelamedu police station limits.
The movement of mysterious men with weapons in various areas at nighttime has caused panic amid the public.
