Tirupur: Commemorating the birthday of the PMK Founder Dr. Ramadoss, the PMK distributed free notebooks and planted saplings inTirupur.
The celebration for the Pasumai Thayagam day was also undertaken today. The PMK's North District Secretary Pradeep Kumar ledthe distribution of free t-shirts, notebooks, face masks and geometry boxes to school students from Dalit communities in the Vattalapathi panchayat. The free goodies were printed with the images of the PMK Founder Dr. Ramadoss and the Youth wing leader Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss.
The cadres also took oaths to protect the natural resources and planted saplings while maintaining social distancing.
The students who took part in this held placards mentioning 'Doctor Ayya 81' to denote his 81st birthday celebration.
The event was attended by District Women's wing Secretary Kirthika, former Union President Kondappan, union women's wing Secretary Nagalakshmi and other party cadres.
