Coimbatore: In a shocking revelation, 444 unaccounted deaths have now been reported by the TN government for the period of March 1 to June 10.
The Health Secretary has mentioned that the 444 deaths are COVID-19 deaths and that they were left out by doctors who considered them as deaths due to other causes and will now be added to the list of COVID-19 deaths.
The Health Minister, however, said that all the 444 deaths were not due to COVID-19, but only a few.
Tweeting regarding this, the DMK party President M.K. Stalin said that he has been shocked by the number of unaccounted COVID-19 deaths in the state. He tweeted, "After I applied continuous pressure on the government, it has now reported that the number of unaccounted COVID-19 deaths until June 10 is 444. This is shocking!"
