The garden is one of the major tourist destinations in Ooty, known as the Queen of the Hills.
All the lawns in the park were leveled and about one lakh flower seedlings of 75 varieties including marigold, pansy, begonia and dahlia were planted. Due to the absence of tourists for the last 3 months, the garden sports an untouched lush look.
