A meeting of doctors and flying squad members led by the Corporation Commissioner J. Shravan Kumar was held at the Coimbatore Corporation's South Zone Office to discuss the COVID-19 prevention measures.
While inspecting the Central Zone near the Ukkadam Bus stand the flying squad members and the Corporation Commissioner slapped a fine and confiscated the products being sold by a road side shop for not maintaining social distancing norms, as the shop appeared crowded.
Further he visited and inspected the Health Inspector's office on Raja Street in the Central Zone and checked the quality of the disinfectant kept at the office.
