The CPI's Head office 'Balan Illam' became the target for slander on social media, recently. The CPI, CPM and MDMK staged protests today and demanded action on those who were involved in this derogatory action. The protests were held in front of the Tirupur Railway station. Tirupur MP Subbarayan took part in the protest.
Speaking to the press he said, "The BJP and the AIADMK have lost their right to rule. To distract the public from this fact, they have invested money on social media and are spreading untrue and derogatory hate messages. The police must take appropriate action against those who are involved in such activities."
