Upon information Valparai MLA Kasturi Vasu personally inspected the flood affected river and Government Transport Corporation workshop areas. Subsequently, She visited the Stanmore River area and the newly built Boat House area. Subsequently, the Valparai Municipal Commissioner held consultations with the Tahsildar and the Deputy Regional Manager of the State Transport Corporation on the flood situation.
He instructed the authorities to arrange camps at the Government College of Arts and Sciences to accommodate the people affected by the floods in Valparai. The meeting was attended by many including Municipal Commissioner Pavunraj, Tahsildhar Raja, State Transport Corporation Regional Assistant Manager, Jyoti Manikandan, Union President Valparai Ameedu.
