Coimbatore:Police have arrested a contract worker at the Sulur Air Force Base in Coimbatore district for using a fake ID card. Samsudeen hails from Bihar.
The 26-year-old was working on a contract basis at the Sulur Air Force Base in Coimbatore district. Jaswinder Singh, Assistant Security Officer, Sulur Air Force Base, lodged a complaint at the Sulur Police Station alleging that he had joined the service using a fake identity card.
The Sulur police registered a case under 3 sections and conducted an investigation. It was revealed that Samsudeen joined the job using his brother's Aadhar card. Following this, Samsudeen was arrested by the Sulur police and is being investigated.
