Tirupur: More than two hours of heavy rain in Tirupur has caused floods on major roads, causing inconvenience to motorists.
Heavy rains lashed various parts of Tirupur city from 4 pm for 2 hours and caused floods in the areas of Boyampalayam, Pichampalayam and New Bus Stand, causing severe inconvenience to motorists.
Many were seen complaining that rainwater mixed with sewage water entered their houses due to blockage of sewerage.
