He was staying at the estate guest house. Receiving information about this, health officials isolated him and subjected him to a PCR test the result of which returned positive today.
Following this, he was taken to ESI hospital in Coimbatore for treatment. The cook and gardeners who were in contact with him have been isolated.
The areas he worked at and stayed in were fumigated. The estate guest house was sealed.
