The Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya provided them with immunity packs and bade them farewell.
The district which was devoid of infections for a number of days entered the red zone after the curve started showing an upward trend days ago. Following this, the person diagnosed at early stages and asymptomatic ones are treated at PHC's and treatment centres instituted at government and private schools. The case tally stands at 254.

District Collector Innocent Divya told reporters that the public should not make unnecessary trips. She added that treatment centres with a cumulative capacity of 300 beds are being set up at Coonoor and Ooty.
