A demonstration was held in front of the Tirupur Corporation on behalf of the Hindu Makkal Katchi led by its founding president Arjun Sampath.

He demanded action under the National Security Act against the 'Karuppar Kootam' YouTube channel members for releasing a video that offended the sentiments of Hindus.
