Two more test positive for COVID-19 in Thiruvalluvar Nagar

Coimbatore: Two more persons have been diagnosed with coronavirus at Thiruvalluvar Nagar on Thadagam Road in Coimbatore's Nanjundapuram panchayat.


Coimbatore: Two more persons have been diagnosed with coronavirus at Thiruvalluvar Nagar on Thadagam Road in Coimbatore's Nanjundapuram panchayat.

An airport contract employee from the area was admitted to the Coimbatore ESI hospital on the 12th after contracting the virus. 



The area was then fumigated and isolated.



It was advised that no one should leave the area. The COVID positive persons family members then underwent PCR tests. It was confirmed today that both his mother and son were infected following which they were admitted at the ESI hospital.

The news of three members from the same family contracting the virus has caused panic amid the residents of the area.
