An 84-year-old man from Variety Hall Road, Coimbatore was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital yesterday due to sudden illness.Following this, the doctors who examined him said that he had died on the way to the hospital.
Subsequently, his body was kept in a mortuary at the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.
In this case, he is confirmed to have a corona infection at the end of a routine examination.
