Coimbatore: The forest department has congratulated Ramya and Archana, tribal children living in Topslip near Pollachi, for clearing the Class 12 examination.
More than a thousand tribal people from Kadar, Muduvar and Malasar tribes are living in the Topslip area under the Pollachi Anaimalai Tiger Reserve in Coimbatore District.
Two girls from these tribes have passed the 12th class public examination.
Ramya from Topslip Colony scored 311 marks and Archana from Buffalo Rock scored 274 marks. It is noteworthy that Sridevi, another tribal girl of the Kadampara hill tribe, passed the Class X examination in Kerala a few days ago.
Ramya and Archana were congratulated on behalf of the Forest Department for passing the Class 12 examination.
