The Coimbatore District Collector was recently diagnosed with a corona infection while many government employees are working here. He was subsequently admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
Disinfectant was sprayed all over the District Collector’s office premises. Further staff were instructed to be tested for corona infection. 63 staff were tested for the virus yesterday. A computer assistant working in the rural local government department was diagnosed with corona infection.
He was later admitted to ESI Government Hospital for treatment.
