₹2.12 crore worth modern robotic machine to be used to clear underground sewer and human waste in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: For disposal of underground sewers and human waste in Coimbatore Corporation - Minister SP Velumani inaugurated the operation of 5 robotic 2.0 machines at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 12 lakhs.


Coimbatore: The Minister of Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Special Projects, SP Velumani has inaugurated the operation of 5 robotic 2.0 state-of-the-art machinery worth Rs. 2 crore 12 lakhs for the disposal of sewers and human waste in the Corporation of Coimbatore.



Later, Minister SP Velumani launched an app called KOVAICARE APP at the Coimbatore Corporation Headquarters to provide information on corona virus infections and isolated areas to the public.



The function was graced by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Municipal Administration and Drinking Water Supply, Harmandar Singh, IAS,Commissioner of the Corporation and the Private Officer, Shravankumar Jadavat, the Deputy Commissioner of the Corporation, S. Madurantaki, the District Revenue Officer, Ramadurai Murugan and senior government officials were present.
