With the results of Class 12 passing in Tamilnadu being released today, Tirupur has the highest pass rate in the state. District Collector Vijayakarthikeyan, who released the results, later met reporters.
Speaking to the press, he said "23,398 people across the district had written the exam. Of these, 10418 were male and 12980 were female. Tirupur district has an overall pass rate of 97.12%.
He also congratulated all the students, parents and teachers who worked hard to become the first in the state in passing the pass rate.
