As a result of the COVID lockdown, people living in the rural areas suffer without adequate employment and income. The livelihood of the people who live in hilly areas in particular have been severely affected.
On behalf of the Anaimalai Police in the Valparai constituency, coronavirus awareness was given to the locals in Manika Moolai area near Anaimalai. All of them were given face masks.
Following this, Valparai DSP Vivekanandan and Anaimalai Police Inspector Subramanian distributed essential items including rice to more than 50 people.

He informed that essentials including groceries would be provided to people living in other areas too.
