Coimbatore: MLA Na.Karthik today filed a petition with the Coimbatore City Police, urging them to take action against AIADMK persons who are allegedly spreading slanderous and false news on Facebook.
Coimbatore: MLA Na.Karthik today filed a petition with the Coimbatore City Police, urging them to take action against AIADMK persons who are allegedly spreading slanderous and false news on Facebook.
“An AIADMK person had posted on his Facebook page misrepresenting Singanallur Legislator Na. Karthik and the DMK”, the petition said.
In the petition, he alleged that the AIADMK was deliberately engaging in such indecent acts and that stern action should be taken against such persons.
Following this, MLA Na. Karthik while speaking with reporters said, “In Coimbatore, I have been publishing statements and news on behalf of the DMK regarding corruption and malpractices in various development projects of the government and while they have not been able to respond to those allegations, instead of responding to them they have been imprisoning and threatening DMK executives with false allegations as revenge”.
He said that “an AIADMK person had posted vile and derogatory posts against him and had petitioned the Commissioner of Police to take stern action against the AIADMK person for posting indecently on Facebook.”
