Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer J Shravan Kumar inspected the construction work of a sports training facility worth Rs. 75 lakhs being carried out at Gurusamy Nagar, Ward No. 17, Vadavalli, West Zone, Coimbatore.
Deepak, a resident of Subramania Nagar in Vadavalli area, Coimbatore Corporation West Zone, went to the CCMC Commissioner to inquire into the complaint made over the phone regarding the distribution of drinking water. Commissioner ordered the concerned authorities to provide regular supply of drinking water.
The Commissioner visited Park in Ward No. 18 in the Western Zone of the Corporation of Coimbatore in Vadavalli while overseeing the splitting of compostable and non-compostable garbage by the CCMC employees in the area.
Further, the Corporation Commissioner inspected the Uzhavar Sandhai operating near Vadavalli Bus Stand and advised the traders and the public to wear masks, adhere to adequate social distancing while shopping.
During the field visit, the Western Regional Assistant Commissioner and officials were present.
