Coimbatore: MDMK functionary and ex-councillor Krishnaswamy from Maniyakaranpalayam in Coimbatore has filed a complaint with the DSP of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department against Coimbatore Commissioner J. Shravan Kumar.
Coimbatore: MDMK functionary and ex-councillor Krishnaswamy from Maniyakaranpalayam in Coimbatore has filed a complaint with the DSP of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department against Coimbatore Commissioner J. Shravan Kumar.
He charged that since Shravan Kumar assumed charge as the Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation, nothing can be done without bribing the Corporation officials.
He accused that 329 contractors who were selected in 2019 have not been issued approvals yet due to them not paying bribes.
The complaint also states that the administration of KMCH Hospital on Avinashi Road bribed the Corporation to encroach Highways land in order to build an entrance to the hospital.
