The list ofpositives comprise a policeman residing at the BSNL Quarters, a person from Sevidipettai area on Mysore Road and three who were quarantined on arrival from foreign countries
Following this, the BSNL Quarters and Sevidipettai areas were disinfected and isolated.

The Goundankolli area where a pregnant tribal woman tested positive for COVID-19 2 days ago has been isolated as well. The pregnant woman was admitted at a private hospital for delivery in the area. Following complications, she was sent to a hospital in Coimbatore where she was found COVID-19 positive.
This is the first tribal COVID case in the Gudalur area. Health Department officials have initiated an investigation as to how a spread occurred in this area.
