Underprivileged families residing at the areas such as Ottupattarai, Gandhipuram, MGR Nagar, Siddhi Vinayagar Koil Street were provided with vegetables and other essentials. Cops led by Inspector Jayamurugan distributed the relief packages. They also promoted awareness about COVID-19 amid the people here.
The beneficiaries thanked the Coonoor police and said the relief supplies would be of great help to them in a time when jobs are few and far between due to the impact of COVID-19.
