Tirupur: The overall COVID-19 positive tally in Tirupur District stands at 297 after just 3 new cases were reported today. There are 118 active cases in the district as of today.
The details of the new cases are as follows:
1. A 55-year-old male from Emerald Apartment, Avinashi Road
2. A 56-year-old male from Kuppanna Gounder Street, Anupparpalayam
3. A 28-year-old female from Maruthi Nagar, Avinashi
A total of 302 samples were processed today.
Including the 284 added to home quarantine today, the tally of those who have been quarantined so far stands at 2,871.
The district registered 10 recoveries today.
