117 new cases and 1 death in Coimbatore today.
Coimbatore: The Tamilnadu State bulletin has listed 117 new cases today and 1 death for the District of Coimbatore. This is an all-time high for Coimbatore in terms of number of cases declared per day.
A total of 930 people are under home and hospital treatment. A total of 1261 cases have been registered so far.
As we have reported through the day, there are many areas which have reported new cases and we will continue to highlight those areas separately. The district administration is still not publishing the patient area details.
Our readers might remember that we reported over 116 cases were reported from Selvapuram alone. Since then everyday there have been record number of cases reported in the bulletin.

Update @9:15 PM - The district administration has given area wise breakup of the cases listed today in the state bulletin. Out of the 117 cases, 82 cases are cluster cases with more than one case in each area. 35 cases are from other areas with one case each.
