Coimbatore: A rejuvenation and stress relief camp was held for Valparai Municipality COVID-19 prevention frontline workers.
A special camp was organised by the Valparai Municipality in order to reduce the stress levels of its frontline workers involved in COVID-19 prevention measures and rejuvenate them.
The camp was conducted at a marriage hall and the attendees wore face masks and maintained social distancing. The camp witnessed the participation of frontline workers such as sanitary workers, cops, and officials from various departments.
Professor Kumaragurubaran, the resource person for the camp, entertained the workers with short stories and songs, and taught them breathing techniques. Furthermore, cultural events that witnessed enjoyable participation from the attendees were conducted.
The workers were then presented with gifts in appreciation of their service.
Municipality Assistant Director Kumaravel, Inspector of Municipalities Manoharan, Municipality Commissioner Pavunraj, Police Inspector Maheshwari, sanitary workers, cops, employees from Amma Unavagam and officials from various departments were in attendance.
