Police Department provides COVID-19 assistance to tribals in the Nilgiris

The Nilgiris: The Manjoor Police provided relief supplies and face masks to underprivileged tribals at the Kannakandy hamlet in the Manjoor area.

The Nilgiris: The Manjoor Police provided relief supplies and face masks to underprivileged tribals at the Kannakandy hamlet in the Manjoor area.

The Nilgiris are home to a lot of tribes people including Kurumbar and Irular among others.

Per the directions of the District Police Department, cops from Manjoor Police station spread awareness about COVID-19 amid the tribals in the hamlet of Kannakandy.

Following this, cops led by Inspector of the Manjoor Police station Daulath provided the tribals in the area with food supplies and face masks. More than hundred tribals participated in and benefited from the event.
