He was subjected to test after he reported symptoms today. He is presently admitted at a private hospital here.
According to reports, Rajiv Vijay Nabar, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax arrived to Coimbatore from new Delhi on Thursday and held meeting with officials at the Income tax Office in Race Course, here.
As he reported illness, he was taken to a private hospital here where he was tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Following his results, the Income tax office at Race Course has been sealed and fumigation works are being carried out.
All the officials who took part in the recent meeting wih him have been asked to quarantine themselves and report if symptoms, arise.
His family members were also subjected to COVID tests, today.
