Industries in Coimbatore Zone provided with Rs.1,000 crore financial assistance - BJP State General Secretary

Rs.1,000 crore financial assistance has been provided from the Rs.20-lakh crores loan scheme to industries and MSME's in the Coimbatore Zone, informed BJP State General Secretary Selvakumar.

Coimbatore: Rs.1,000 crore financial assistance has been provided from the Rs.20-lakh crores loan scheme to industries and MSME's in the Coimbatore Zone, informed BJP State General Secretary Selvakumar.

Speaking to the press about this, he said, "PM Modi has announced the Self Reliant India scheme. This scheme encompasses the five areas of technology, demography, economics, infrastructure and defence. Fund allotment for the schemes will be done in five phases. A total of Rs.20 lakh crore has been allocated for this scheme. Various schemes have been announced for SC, ST and OBC too. The Central Government has purchased the house that Dr. Ambedkar lived while he was in London. Arrangements are made for SC, ST students who go to the UK for studies to stay at that home while pursuing their education."

He added, "27 % reservation has been made for 52% OBCs in India. 37 lakh gas connections have been provided to women. In the Coimbatore Zone alone, Rs.1,000 crore financial assistance has been provided to the MSME's. Various schemes have been announced for the roadside vendors too."

He further said, "A great change has occurred in TN. The Cauvery Management Board has been formed. Rs.25 crores of fund has been allocated for agriculture. The scheme for providing Rs.6,000 to 18 crore farmers is executed. The BJP government will never cancel the free electricity scheme."

BJP District President Nandakumar, District General Secretaries Rameshkumar and Damu, Spokesperson Sabari and Vice President Madhan were also present.
