COVID numbers in Tirupur relent a little; 6 fresh cases today
Tirupur: The overall COVID-19 positive tally in Tirupur District stands at 294 after just 6 new cases were reported today. There are 125 active cases in the district as of today.
The details of the fresh cases are as follows:
1. A 38-year-old male from Thirumoorthy Hills Road, Dhali, Udumalaipettai
2. A 73-year-old male from 4th Street Extension, SV Nagar, PN Road, Tirupur
3. A 24-year-old male near Mariamman Kovil, Samundipuram, Tirupur
4. A 57-year-old male from Mullai Nagar, P. Vadugapalayam, Palladam
5. A 37-year-old male from Thangaraj Compound, Lucky Nagar, Pichampalayam, Tirupur
6. A 24-year-old female RS Puram, Pongupalayam, Perumanallur
A total of 604 samples were processed today.
Including the 203 added to home quarantine today, the tally of those who have been quarantined so far stands at 2906.
The district registered 11 recoveries today.
