Coimbatore: The sixth exclusive air cargo flight will depart to Sharjah tonight. Five flights have carried 85 tonnes of cargo to Sharjah so far.
Airport sources told SimpliCity, "So far, five exclusive all-cargo flights have been operated from the Coimbatore International airport. All these were operative Spicejet Airlines from Coimbatore to Sharjah. Totally 85 tonnes of cargo have been sent.
Meanwhile, the sixth exclusive all-cargo flight from Coimbatore to Sharjah is expected to take off around midnight from Coimbatore International Airport, Spicejet is the operator this flight too. More than 18 tonnes of cargo is expected to be loaded on this flight today. Apart from this, cargo is also also sent from Coimbatore to various destinations with the help of 'BONDED TRUCK OPERATIONS,"airport sources said.
