Coimbatore: 20 government employees took the World Population day pledge at the Coimbatore District Collectorate.
Observing the World Population Day today, more than 20 government employees took oathswith the central idea that "however difficult the circumstances may be, we pledge to provide family welfare services to the independent and self reliant citizens of our country."
As per the directions of the District Collector, employees of the Coimbatore District Health and Family Welfare Department took the oath. They were led by the District Revenue Department Officer Ramadurai Murugan. All the requisite COVID norms were observed in the event.
