Coimbatore: A rejuvenation and stress relief camp was held for Valparai Municipality COVID-19 prevention frontline workers.
A special camp was held by the Valparai Municipality in order to reduce the stress levels of its frontline workers involved in COVID-19 prevention measures and rejuvenate them. The camp was conducted at a marriage hall and the attendees wore face masks and maintained social distancing.
Professor Kumaragurubaran, the resource person for the camp, entertained the workers with short stories and songs, and taught them breathing techniques. Furthermore, cultural events that witnessed enjoyable participation from the attendees were conducted. The workers were then presented with gifts in appreciation of their service.
The Municipality Assistant Director Kumaravel, Inspector of Municipalities Manoharan, Municipality Commissioner Pavunraj, Police Inspector Maheshwari and other COVID-19 frontline workers, sanitary workers, officers and cops were in attendance.
