Ara. Arul Arasu took charge as SP of Namakkal district in 2017.
Sujit Kumar, IPS who was the Deputy Commissioner (traffic) Coimbatore district was appointed as the Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore (rural) on April 2, 2019, replacing SP Pandiarajan.
