CII all set to conduct 'Valve Technology Conclave' tomorrow as part of its Connect Coimbatore conference series
Coimbatore: Initiated with an objective of “Showcasing Coimbatore as an ICT investment destination” in the country, Connect Coimbatore series of conferences have come a long way in terms of supporting organisations in non-IT sectors in improving their business processes using IT tools as their backbone.
As we stand on the brink of a technological revolution that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another, in its scale, scope, and complexity, the transformation will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before. Information technology function, which was initially a supporting sector for an organization has now assumed a major role in the current scenario and with rising numbers of COVID case, we are uncertain when we will be back to our normal mode of operations, hence IT and relevant technologies will continue to play a major role.
With this background, CII with the support of Government of Tamil Nadu is organizing their flagship ICT event, the 19th edition of Connect Coimbatore 2020 on 10 July 2020 (Friday) on a virtual platform with the theme, “Digital Disruption – A Business Advantage”.
Tamil Nadu IT minister R.B. Udhayakumar, IT Secretary for the State and the Director of ELCOT have confirmed to address at this event along with an eminent list of speakers from the industry.
CII has been organising the Valve Technology Conclave focusing on technological advancements and best practices in the industry, over the years. The present edition of this conclave will focus on the areas of International Procurement, Managing Perception Change and Impact of COVID pandemic on strategic sourcing and its consequent challenges.
Dr Aneesh Sekhar, IAS, Executive Director, Tamil Nadu Guidance Bureau will deliver the special address at the inaugural of the session scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
