With 10 new cases reported in the district today, the total has gone up to 160 yet again. Of the 160, 49 persons have recovered and been discharged. Of the remaining 111 cases, 74 have been admitted at Ooty Government Hospital, seven have been admitted at the Coonoor Government Hospital and 30 are receiving treatment at the Coimbatore ESI hospital and Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital

2. Patient number 152, Age 38, Male, Thummanatty- contact of the person working at a private company
3. Patient number 153, Age 31, Male, Emerald, Ooty Municipality- patient is a lorry driver who had been to the vegetable market in Chennai
4. Patient number 154, Age 19, Male, Lovedale, Ooty Municipality- contracted COVID-19 from a relative who arrived from Erode
5. Patient number 155, Age 64, Female, Lovedale, Ooty Municipality- contracted COVID-19 from a relative who arrived from Erode
