Coimbatore: MLA Kasthuri Vasu launched a COVID-19 special financial assistance programme for the differently abled in Valparai.
Relief fund of Rs.1,000 was provided to 900 differently abled persons who have been affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. The beneficiaries received the funds at the Valparai Tahsildar office.
Valparai Tahsildar Raja, VAO Vijay Amirthraj, Trade Union President Valparai Hameed, Vasu, District Secretary Mayil Ganesan, Pon Ganesh, Salauddin and many others were in attendance.
