Coimbatore: MP P.R. Natarajan presented special three-wheel vehicles worth Rs.1.69 to differently abled persons from funds allotted under MPLADS.
Coimbatore: MP P.R. Natarajan presented special three-wheel vehicles worth Rs.1.69 to differently abled persons from funds allotted under MPLADS.
The MP has been allotting funds from the MPLADS for various relief measures. As part of these measures, funds have been allocated for providing special three-wheel vehicles for eight differently abled people. Three of those were presented with three wheel vehicles worth Rs.1,69,200 on Wednesday.
In an event that took place at the MP's office on Gandhipuram second street, MP P.R. Natarajan presented the vehicles to the beneficiaries Balan from Kallimadai, Singanallur, Prabhu from Chinniyampalayam Sulur Taluk and Thangavel of Periyakuyilai. He wished them well.
The Differently Abled Welfare Department District Officer Chandrasekar and other officials, CPIM Coimbatore District Secretary V. Ramamoorthy and other District Executive Committee members participatedin the event.
The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the MP. The MP has been providing welfare measures to the underprivileged throughout the lockdown and he has also presented medical equipment to the Health Department.
