He had locked the house on the 4th and had gone to his brother-in-law's house in Kalangal. Returning home at 4 pm yesterday, he was shocked to find that the front door of the house had been broken into. It has been revealed that 12 sovereigns of jewelry was stolen including a necklace, earring and finger rings.
Following Raju's complaint the Sulur police station investigated the case. As there was no CCTV camera in the area a sniffer dog was brought to the location.
Also, fingerprints in the door and the wardrobe are being investigated and serious probes are being conducted to track down the culprits involved in the theft. The theft in the residential area has caused fear among residents.
