Five of the cases have been cross-notified to other districts. Following this, a revised list with a tally of 145 positives was released.
With this being the case, five fresh were reported in the district today taking the total to 150 again. Of the 145, 49 persons have recovered and been discharged, Of the remaining 101, 74 have been admitted at Ooty Government Hospital, seven patients have been admitted at Coonoor Government Hospital and 20 patients have been admitted at the Coimbatore ESI hospital and Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital for treatment.

2. Patient no.147, Age 14, Female, R.K.S. Mandi, Ketti Town Panchayat- contact of a private company employee
3. Patient no.148, Age 52, Male, Jubilee Road, Ketti Town Panchayat- employed at a private company. Primary contact of a person who works at the private company.
4. Patient no.149, Age 20, Male, Jubilee Road, Ketti Town Panchayat- Contact of a private company employee
5. Patient no.150, Age 33, Female, Government Hospital road, Ooty Municipality- Contact of private company employee
With a lot of passengers arriving intothe district turning COVID positive, the public have been requested to travel only for essential medical reasons and avoid family functions.
